The damage calculation formula for Chinese Ghost Story mobile game
Damage Calculation Formula
Physical Damage = (Physical Attack + Skill Physical Damage) - Physical Defense (Critical Shock Considered Also)
Spell Attack = (Spell Attack + Skill Spell Damage - Spell Defense)*Fixed Constant*max(0,(Element Ignore-Element Resistance))
Formula explanation
To facilitate everyone to understand this formula, I will give you a simple example. If there is a snatcher with 5,000-15,000 yuan in physical skills and uses the skill [Heart String] to attack a snuff with 5,000 physical defense, then how much damage will the snuffer cause to the snuffer?
(For the sake of easy calculation, the damage of the heartstrings is calculated directly at 2300) We will simply calculate it according to the physical damage formula.
The maximum damage of the shooter to the nurse should be: (15,000 maximum physical attack + 2,300 heartstring damage)-5,000 physical defense = 12,300 damage
The minimum damage should be: (5,000 minimum physical attack + 2300 heartstring damage)-5000 physical defense = 2300 damage
If, directly according to the damage formula revealed by the brother of the development team, this shooter will cause 2300--12300 damage to the nurse.
Obviously, this data is wrong. Because, a shooter with 15,000 physical attacks cannot cause so much damage to a 5,000 physical defense nurse. In fact, the formula still lacks a key data. This data is the fixed constant in the above spell damage. This fixed constant is also called the damage coefficient. If you are a little confused, don't worry, I will talk about it slowly.
This fixed constant means that the damage coefficient is 0.15. What is the damage coefficient? It means that most of the damage you cause to the player must be multiplied by this coefficient, and then the real damage you cause to the player.
Simply put, we just used the calculation of the damage formula and concluded that the shooter will cause 2300--12300 damage to the nurse. Then, we are multiplying this number by the damage coefficient is the real damage you have caused to this nurse.
Minimum damage 2300*0.15=345
Maximum damage 12300*0.15=1845
So, the real damage caused by this shooter to the nurse is 345---1845. This does not consider the damage reduction of the stone spirit and the damage reduction on the equipment entry.
Actually, when I was playing PC games, I knew that the damage coefficient was 0.15. However, II have been curious about a question, where does this damage coefficient 0.15 come from, and is it reliable.
In order to verify this data, a shooter attacked the alchemist and did a simple test, which was basically calculated as above, regardless of the damage of the coefficient. Then pass, record the maximum attack and minimum attack of the shooter hitting the alchemist. Then, the maximum attack calculated using the panel minus the actual maximum attack = 0.126. Considering that the maximum damage may not be dealt, this data is credible.
Summary
(Add to add, I used the scorpion tail of the Sagittarius to fight the alchemist. After testing several times, I suddenly had an interesting guess that the scorpion damage of the Sagittarius is actually a calculation method. For example, a level 40 scorpion tail is attached to 900 damage. The correct calculation method is the scorpion tail of the Sagittarius + these 900 poison damage, and then subtract the defense of the method. Because, I found that it is not that the physical attack damage is high, the additional poison damage is high. For example, a sci-fi tail can use the scorpion tail to cause 500-1000 damage and 100-200 poison damage. The damage caused by this sci-fi is sometimes 800 physical attack and 100 poison damage.)
This damage coefficient is very important, through this coefficient. A lot of data on the game can be simply calculated. For example, attacks, such as defense, through this coefficient, we can calculate how much defense can be reduced for every 100 defenses, and how many attacks can be increased for every 100 attacks.
And the calculation method is very simple, just use the defense you added *0.15.
We can verify it briefly
1000 physical attack uses a skill with 100 points of damage to attack a character with 500 physical defense,
Specific damage equals
(1000+100)-500=600.
600*0.15= 90
What if it is a person who is fighting 600 physical defense?
(1000+100)-600=500
500*0.15=75.
The same applies to Dharma work. All attacks or defense data in the game *0.15 are the actual damage caused. All, the final damage of the equipment entry -10 or more can actually be considered as adding defense. No need to pile it up deliberately.
