Bloober Team said in the article: "It is not true that we announced that Silent Hill 2 is ready for sale. No matter the development stage, all our work is focused on getting the highest quality finished product - which is what Silent Hill 2 fans deserve. We know players are waiting for more information about Silent Hill 2. Once this information is available, we are sure that the game publisher Korami will share it with fans."

At present, the release date of "Silent Hill 2: Remake" has not been announced yet. When Korami announced the project last year, it only mentioned that it will be released on PS5 and PC.
