"Curse Land" update patch improves performance by 15%

Squarell recently launched the PC version of "The Land of Curse" performance patch. DSOGaming re-benchmarked the game and compared it to the release. According to tests, the latest version of the game is better in performance and operation than the original release.

The benchmarks here use Intel i9 9900K, 16GB DDR4 (3800Mhz) and NVIDIA's RTX 4090. The operating system is Windows 10 64-bit, and the driver uses GeForce 531.26. For comparison, DSOGaming uses the highest screen settings under non-ray tracing of the game, and then passes the built-in benchmark test to reflect the performance of the game.

At 1080p and 1440p, you can see a 15% increase in the minimum frame rate. These performance improvements are more reflected in certain CPU-occupancy scenarios, which means that older CPU players will also benefit from this performance patch.

Although the minimum frame rate increased by 15%, the average frame rate did not increase much. At 1080p, performance increases by only 4%. As for 1440p, the game has about 8% performance improvement.

Squarkwell also significantly improved the game's image performance through patches. Below are some screenshots of comparison between version 1.04 (Part 1) and version 1.10 (Part 2).
