The recommended configuration of "World of Warcraft" 9.0 was announced: both CPU and graphics cards were improved
Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft 9.0 Shadowlands will be launched on October 27, and now the official has also given the recommended configuration. After supporting ray tracing, the graphics card requirements have been increased. Judging from the official details, the system configuration requirements of "World of Warcraft: Shadowlands" are: the recommended graphics card reaches GTX1080/RX Vega 64, and the processor i7-6700/R7 2700X (requires at least 100GB of SSD space), which is indeed much higher than the recommended system configuration of "World of Warcraft: Azeroth".
You can see that compared with the minimum configuration of 8.0 "Campaign Azeroth" and 9.0 "Shadowlands", the processor has been upgraded from i5-760/FX-8100 to i5-3450/FX8300, and the graphics card has been upgraded from GTX560/RadeonHD7850 to GTX760/RX560.
As a new expansion pack, this time players are about to go to the ultimate unknown realm - the Shadow Realm, where all the souls of the dead rest in peace - whether good or evil, here. Travel through the planes of torture and imprisonment, and head for rebirth and eternal gifts. Azeroth's hero must establish bonds with the powerful alliance that ruled the Shadow Kingdom, thereby gaining extraordinary power and exposing Shivanas's tricks.
It should be noted that in "World of Warcraft: Shadowland", there are three levels of RTX ray tracing, namely Farr, Good, and High, which are equivalent to the low, medium and high levels. The first two levels have lowered the resolution. High is the full resolution ray tracing rendering, and naturally the highest requirements.
After turning on Good image quality ray tracing, the performance dropped to 50-100fps, and the frame rate in the main city fell to 50-60fps, a serious decline.
