The second season of "The Seven Deadly Sins" will be released in January 2018

　　The second season of "The Seven Deadly Sins" adapted from the original work of comic artist Yu Suzuki is scheduled to be released and is expected to be released in January 2018. The animation is produced by A-1 Pictures. It tells the story of the Third Prince Elizabeth who pinned her hopes on the seven sins of the strongest Knights composed of seven vicious sinners in order to save the country.

　　The story takes place in the Kingdom of Lyonis on the continent of Britalia. The king predicts that the legendary jihad will begin again. The paladins of the kingdom strengthen their arms in order to prepare for war, and then launch a coup to imprison the king and exploit and enslave the people. Elizabeth, the third prince, who was worried about the current situation of the country, placed his hope of saving the country on the legendary thief, the strongest knights composed of seven vicious sinners, and embarked on the journey of searching alone.

　　In the doomed journey, the exhausted Elizabeth accidentally entered a tavern and was rescued by a blonde boy who was the owner of the shop. The teenager was Meliodas, the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins. After rescuing the princess from the crisis of the pursuers, they embark on a journey to find their former companions and save the future of the kingdom.
