√What does it mean?

√ Mathematically is called "root number", which means finding the arithmetic square root of a number. (i.e. square is equal to the positive number of this number). Negative numbers have no arithmetic square root. The arithmetic square root of the real number a is denoted as √a, where a≥0, and the definition is √a≥0.

The root number is a symbol used to square arithmetic operations on a number or an algebraic expression. If a?=b, then a is the n-power root of b to the n-power or a is 1/n-power of b. The handwritten and printed form to the power of the n are represented by the number or algebraic formula written by the square in the area surrounded by the right side of the symbol and the horizontal part above the symbol, and cannot be out of bounds.

Root multiplication and division rules:

1. Multiply (divided) the same order, multiply (divided) the coefficients before the root formula as the coefficient of product (quotient); multiply (divided) the squared number as the squared number, the root index remains unchanged, and then transform into the simplest root formula.

Rules of addition and subtraction of quadratic roots: First, simplify each quadratic root form into the simplest quadratic root form, and then merge similar quadratic root forms separately.
