About Assassin's Creed movie experience (Is Assassin's Creed movie worth watching)

Industry is always intertwined to seek common development, such as games and movies.

Generally speaking, it is adapted from popular games into movies. But movies, as derivatives of the game, often fail at a disagreement. The familiar "Resident Evil", "Silent Hill" and "Warcraft" are all the same.

But even if it fails, it still needs to be adapted. In this era when selling feelings is as easy as selling assholes, no matter how bleak the movie is, there will always be someone who supports the box office.

Yes, let's be happy fools hand in hand.

But no matter how stupid it is, I really don’t feel a little pleasant viewing experience in the movie theater where I am alone and I endure sleepiness. So, I was full of anger at Ubisoft, a movie that was ready to make money in the morning. This is selfishness.

But out of work needs, I still have to be patient. Let me seriously introduce this game movie. After all, "tolerance" is one of the traditional Chinese habits.

Assassin's Creed

As a game movie, obviously, I'm not its audience. But during the 116-minute picture conversion, I have tried my best to analyze what kind of story this video tells.

All the following represent the opinions of non-game player viewers only, and some of the content quotes analysis from more professionals.

There were two major confrontational organizations in Spain in the 15th century, one of which was called the Templars, and the other was the Assassin Organization, which was somewhat similar to the underground party organization "Tiandihui" in the Qing Dynasty. Like the heaven and earth meeting that "worships heaven as father and earth as mother", this foreign party with a long history also has its own creed—

Nothing is true

everything is permitted

Everything is empty, everything is acceptable

A more popular explanation is that there is no absolute truth in the world, and any constraints can be broken.

Why should these words be used as organizational declarations? This involves the social environment at that time.

In the movie, the director or screenwriter (or jointly) sets up two time and space, but simplifies it to the same general environment. Whether in 2016 or 1492, there were two major classes of confrontation - the oppressed side and the oppressed side.

The Templars represented the powerful and powerful at that time and ruled the vast land under their feet. Suddenly, an assassin organization appeared.

According to the words of the villain in the movie, the word "assassin" was created in Arabia and was later composed of drug abuse, wandering, robbers, etc. They are lazy but undoubtedly smart people. From the perspective of personnel composition, this group of people belongs toThose who are oppressed in the lower class have no economic and political rights. It is precisely because existing laws not only cannot bring any benefits, but also constantly limit their normal life and development, so we must set up flags to overturn existing constraints.

The assassins value freedom the most. If a society does not have free will, it is just a group of headless corpses who are willing to bow down under the power mechanism.

Although money is good, it cannot resist freedom.

If you think this is an epic like "The Legend of Gandhi", which praises the warriors who shed blood on the battlefield for human dignity and the rights of equality, then you are very wrong. Of course, when the second protagonist in the film - the fly - spreads his wings and soars down the earth, there is indeed such an illusion.

Unfortunately, when I was walking on the road of justice, I fell into the pit of chaos in the plot.

In 2016, Callum Lynch (also known as Carl), played by Fasha, saw the body of his mother who was killed by her father when she was young. She was shocked and lived for thirty years with hatred for her father.

The first day thirty years later, it turned out that he was sentenced to death for his previous violent act of killing a pimp.

Of course, Carl didn't know in advance that this was just a government's method of replacing the pillars.

The death penalty for injection is false, and it is true that forcing him to obtain his ancestors' memories through Animus to find the first seed of resistance - the Apple of Eden - is true.

At first, he thought he was crazy,he was surrounded by crazy people. How can we obtain the memories of ancient people?

He sat at the dining table in the cafeteria to prepare for a meal. A black man who was the assassin came to chat with him and gave him an apple as a hint.

Suddenly, when he was about to pick up the apple, another tall and thin man rushed over and pretended to snatch it away, saying, "You will lead them (the institute staff) to find the Apple of Eden."

Carl answered very seriously, no.

If it were you, would you think this is a crazy asylum?

What's even more crazy is that this researcher, which earns 3 billion yuan a year, has a huge memory extractor, the Animus mentioned above. But the operation of this large machine is reminiscent of Yang Yongxin's electric shock therapy.

I can't remember, right? It's okay, just use electricity.

Why is this research institute established? This is because in modern society there are also a group of Templars serving the elders and suppressing all objections and resistance. Allen and Sofia are the leaders of the institute, and Sofia is the one who plays more on the technical level.

She said to Carl, who just woke up from a coma, you come here to help me, I come here to help you, and I just want to find the genes of violence from you to completely cure all the vicious events in the world.

The reason Carl was found was because he was a direct descendant of an assassin during the Spanish religious court. And violence is hereditary.

Carl remembered the fact that his father killed his mother and considered the rest of his life, so he decided to cooperate.

However, in the process of obtaining the memories of our ancestors, Carl's free will was slowly aroused. As his father said, your blood does not belong to you alone, but to the entire assassin organization. He learned that his mother was not killed by his father, but dedicated herself for the assassin organization, and understood the passionate feelings of the entire organization to sacrifice the self for the greater self.

So, he was really crazy. Oh no, become a real assassin. That leap of faith means his new life as a liberal eagle.

After starting the new life, Carl led the descendants of the Assassin organization to assassinate Allen, the representative figure of the Templar.

Allen is Sophia's father, who concealed from his daughter the real purpose of finding the Apple of Eden - suppressing all consciousness of resistance rather than eradicating violence. After learning about her father's intention, Sophia was surprised, regretful, and accepted within just one minute, completing her emotional transformation and inheriting her father's unfinished career.

There has since been a start to the modern battle between the Assassin and the Templars...

As a work adapted from the game, the content of "Assassin's Creed" is too old-fashioned: the plot of computers connecting the human brain to read memories is frequently used in many American blockbusters, and the routine of stealing the wrongs is also seen through at a glance. The process of changing emotional perception leads to the transformation of cognition and choice lacks touching details, and it is not resonant to the audience.

What's worse is that in a diversified world, we still want to forcibly instill the "concept of right and wrong". However, the directors and screenwriters' practice of distinguishing absolute justice and injustice was slapped by themselves.

Sophia pursues the eradication of violence, but uses it in a violent way. Carl pursues fairness and justice, but only through assassination.

Breaking the suppression by taking the lives of others actually means disrespect for life. How can freedom, equality and justice be achieved by using violence to combat violence? I don't buy the chaotic logic of being forced to sell by Ubisoft as an ordinary movie viewer.

The passage in Douban Movie Review is more realistic:

"But it is regrettable that every new game adapted movie is always reluctant to make progress and stubbornly guarding games from smaller users. The existing property in the drama circle is reluctant to take two more steps in the direction of a good movie. Technology upgrades cannot change the conceptual outdatedness, and the latter is the absolute key to achieving a successful game-adapted movie. ”

But, you might just laugh at the shark of the magic shark?
