There are 6 real-world autonomous regions in the game, namely Whitechapel District, Southerk District, Westminster District, Strand, Lambes District and Thames District.

In an interview with IGN, Ubisoft said that the map of Assassin's Creed: The Heroes is 30% larger than that of Assassin's Creed: The Revolution, but the latter takes place in Paris, France.
