Assassin's Creed: Red's Japanese cultural background (Assassin's Creed: Red hires a local Japanese consultant)

Recently, according to foreign media Axios, Ubisoft hired local Japanese consultants to develop Assassin's Creed: Red to ensure cultural authenticity and sensitivity.

Axios interviewed two insiders familiar with Ubisoft, who revealed that Assassin’s Creed: RED developers worked with Japanese consultants and worked with Ubisoft Japan Studios, as well as the recently formed diverse, inclusive and accessible team to ensure Assassin’s Creed: Red provides a real experience.

Axios said it is unclear how much impact the consultants or co-developers have on Assassin's Creed RED development, but considering that the game is at least two years away from being released, the development team still has a long way to go.

In recent years, it has become increasingly common to hire local consultants other than studio developers for games. For example, "The Ghost of Tsushima" has hired Japanese consultants to guide developers to point out minor issues that are easily overlooked.

Can the development team of "Assassin's Creed: RED" polish a masterpiece that has an authentic cultural atmosphere and can meet the needs of fans? Let's wait and see!
