A——ASSASSIN BROTHERHOOD(Assassin Brotherhood)

The secret organization essential in every Assassin's Creed game, these hooded assassins have been fighting against the evil and attempting to control the world for human freedom for humanity. The Brotherhood of Assassin was inspired by a religious organization active in the Levant during the Crusades. The activities of the Assassins can be traced back to the mysterious First Civilization Period. Like the Knights Templar, they are found in every iconic event in history.

B—BORGIA(Borgia)

The most notorious family of the Renaissance. The Borgia family is Egio Auditore da Florence's mortal enemy in Assassin's Creed 2 and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. The head of the family, Rodrigo Bogia (also known as Alexander VI, is considered the most corrupt pope in history) is the central figure in the Knights Templar who conspired to falsely accus and frame Aegio's father and brother. His son Caesar attacked the Assassin Brotherhood at Monteriggiuni's base camp, which also made him the biggest villain in Assassin's Creed: The Brotherhood.

C——CONNOR(Connor)

A half-British, half-Mohawkian assassin, the straightforward and enthusiastic Connor (also known as Ratonhnhaké:ton) rebuilt the American Brotherhood of Assassin during the American War of Independence, and joined Washington in confronting the British and his Templar father, Heisen.

D——DORIAN(Dorian)

The conflict and reconciliation between the Assassin and the Templar constituted the life of Yano Dorian. As the son of an assassin, he witnessed his father being killed by Shei Komak, who rebels from an assassin to a Templar, and was later subsequently taken to the St. ParisAdopted by the Templar Master François de Lasser. After François de Lasser was assassinated by his men, Yano joined the assassin organization for revenge, and also had a romantic encounter with Elise de Russell, the Templar who inherited his father's business.

E——EZIO AUDITORE(Ezio Auditore)

The most popular assassin in the series (and the only protagonist with a trilogy story), the player experiences the revenge, love, conquest, and exploration of Egio Auditore through three games, and also follows Egio's footsteps to learn about Renaissance Italy. From the young boy who witnessed his family's unfair execution at the beginning, to the Roman Spurs master who exposed the conspiracy and tricks of the entire high power class, Egio took us with us to witness the First Civilization for the first time.

F——FRYE(Frye)

Evie and Jacob Fry were a pair of twin assassins active in Victorian London, England, who gathered gangs in the city to dismantle the control of the Templars. Through the help of various high-tech (basically integrated into their assassin’s handguards) and under the guidance of Henry Green (also known as Jayadip Mill, son of the legendary Kashmir Assassin Albaz Mill), the London neighborhoods are liberated one by one through various means. Jacob's granddaughter Lydia was also named Fry, who helped Winston Churchill hunt German spies during World War I.

G—GRANDPRÉ(GRANDPRÉ)

Evelyn de Grampley, who was active in New Orleans before the American War of Independence, was the daughter of a French businessman and an African slave. While investigating the disappearance of slaves in the city, Evelyn discovered that the Templar intends to unearth the first civilized artifact hidden in the pyramid of Chichen Itza. Evelyn assassinated the Templars all the way, looking for the man whom he called his "companion".

H——HIDDEN BLADE(Sleeve Arrow)

The iconic weapon of each generation of assassins. The cuff sword itself has also undergone many changes during years of use, from the initial telescopic knife installed on the leather cuffs to the later powerful multi-functional weapon equipped with accessories such as toxic gas bombs, firearms, crossbow arrows, rope launchers, etc. Each game has its own unique sneak sword. While these sneak swords are also an extension of each protagonist's personality.

I——IBN LA’AHAD(Ibn LaAhad)

Arabic means "Son of No Man", which is the surname of Altay Ibn Rahhad, the protagonist of the first Assassin's Creed. In the first game, players can see Altaïr's transformation from being domineering to knowing how to cooperate. After that, he used the knowledge of the Golden Apple of Eden artifact to reorganize his Assassin Brotherhood. The new technology discovered by Altaïr allowed the assassins to survive the invasion of the Mongolian army, and finally spread the doctrine of the Brotherhood throughout the world.

J——JUNO(Juno)

She is a member of the mysterious pioneer race, one of three scientists (the other two are Jubit and Minerva) sent to protect the first civilization from the Toba catastrophe in 7500 BC. However, Juno intends to interfere with it so that he can rule the world. She allowed her colleagues to preserve her consciousness for thousands of years. Liberated by Desmond Myers in 2012, she now lurks in computer networks around the world, joining forces with the Templars to strive to reincarnate herself.

The Assassin family, which once had a prominent status, pirate Edward Kenway stole the identity token of the traitor Duncan Walpole, the traitor of the assassin organization, and gave the first intersection between the family and the Assassin Brotherhood. Finally he was accepted by the Brotherhood to stop the Saint's plan. The Saint is a person who despises human beings and can be reborn many times. After reincarnation, the Saint inherits the personality and memory of Juno's husband Aita. Edward was finally betrayed and killed by a secret undercover agent of a Templar who also brought Edward's son Heisen (Connor's father) to join the Templar.

L——LEONARDO DA VINCI(Leonardo da Vinci)

One of the most famous erudites in history. Leonardo is not only an artist, scientist, but also an engineer. In the world of Assassin's Creed, he and Egio Auditore are close friends who have helped Egio build and improve various practical tools and devices.

M—MILES(Miles)

Desmond Myers is the protagonist of the modern part in the first five works of Assassin's Creed, inheriting the life experiences and memories of Altaïr, Egio and Connor through Animus. He grew up in the Brotherhood of Assassins and later fled to New York to become a bartender, during which time the Templars kidnapped him and used him as an Animus subject.

N——NEW YORK CITY(New York City)

The popularly known as Big Apple has a very important significance in the Assassin's Creed series, especially for Assassin's Creed 3 and Assassin's Creed: Rebellion. Not only because the 18th-century New York was the main activity area in both games, but also its location was very close to the Grand Temple, this pioneer's underground ruins buried a way to avoid global catastrophes—and the "soul" that has not yet rested.

O——OTSO BERG(Otto BERG)

The faithful hound of the Templar, Yuhanni Otto Berg led the Sigma Squad, a team dedicated to the pursuit of assassins by Abstergo. As the first player in the multiplayer section of Assassin's Creed: Apocalypse, Berg is a ruthless warrior, which was confirmed in the later Assassin's Creed: Rebellion, and is also one of the main villains in the modern part of Assassin's Creed: The Hero.

P—PRECURSORS(Preliminator)

Also known as the First Civilization or Yishu. The pioneers are a long-extinct race with the sixth sense and three spiral DNA, and their technological level is far superior to that of humans. Similar to most ancient myths, pioneers used genetic engineering to create the species of human beings, which was used as slaves, but two of them - Adam and Eve - were in chaos after they ran away. They used the Apple of Eden (more precisely, a mind control device) to make humans realize reality. Later, the war between the two races fell into nothing because of the Toba Catastrophe (or the First Disaster). The disaster destroyed the first civilization, and Yishu gradually disappeared. The only legacy is the residual pioneer DNA in humans, as well as a magical and miraculous artifact called the fragments of Eden.

Q——QUAKES (Great Earthquake)

The pioneers left many magical tools, and their uses are different. One of the functions is to stabilize the earth's plates during earthquakes, which is the artifact that Shei Cormack took away in Lisbon, Portugal. The earthquake killed thousands of people, similar to the previous earthquake in Haiti. With the re-intervention of the Assassin Brotherhood, this incident severely hit Shea's belief in the organization and became the fuse for his later rebellion into the Templars.

R——RIKKIN(Rikin)/strong>

In the Assassin's Creed movie, Jeremy Irons plays Elan Rigin, a senior member of the Templars and CEO of Abstergo. Responsible for handling the company's related matters about media news reports and is also a leader in the Eden Fragment Research Project. Appeared in the first Assassin's Creed game, he is one of the masterminds behind the series.

S——SHAY CORMAC(Shay CoRMAC)

Shay Patrick Comack, active in New York before the American Revolution, was a rebellious Irish assassin. During a mission, he triggered a huge earthquake in Portugal, and after that he defected to the Templars. He believed that the Assassin Brotherhood was indifferent to these dangers and decided to take revenge on them. Under his actions, the Colonial Assassin Brotherhood was almost wiped out.

T——TEMPLAR(Templar)

Another mysterious organization in the Assassin's Creed game always attempts to control all mankind, manipulate people's hearts and establish influence through politics, enterprises, and fragments of Eden. The sinister Templars are in opposition to the idealism of the Assassin Brotherhood, and the two have been fighting for thousands of years as mortal enemies. Like the Brotherhood of Assassins, they also appeared briefly as the Knights Templar during the Crusades.

U——UBERTO ALBERTI(UBERTO Alberti)

Florence's flag officer (basically similar to the sheriff) has a close personal relationship with the Auditorre family and is a friendly relationship - at least it seems. In fact, Uberto Alberti was an undercover agent of the Templars, betrayed the Auditorre family to protect his own family, and sent Egio's father and brother to the gallows through false charges. In the end, his fate was to become Egio's first target, opening up the trilogy of Egio's path to revenge and assassination.

V—VIDIC(Vidic)

As a member of the Templar management, the Inner Temple, Dr. Warren Vidick leads Ebersteger's genetic research project, using Animus to find memories related to the fragments of Eden. He was the villain in the previous Assassin's Creed games, imprisoning Desmond Miles, tracking Desmond's hideout and capturing him. He built an elite unit trained with Animus to hunt down Desmond. He also attempted to create a satellite - "Eyes", which allowed the Templars to control the whole world.

W——WASHINGTON (Washington)

The first president of the United States. George Washington played a very important role in Assassin's Creed 3, maintaining a hard-won partnership with Connor during the War of Independence. And in DLC "Tyrant Washington", this relationship was once again severely tested. Apple of Eden created another parallel world, where Washington, who was addicted to power, became a complete dictator.

X——XERXES I(Xerxes I)

Although he did not show up in the game, Xerxes I of the Persian Empire - yes, the one who fought with the Spartans - was mentioned in Assassin's Creed 2 and was the first known person to be assassinated by a sneak sword. The assassin who assassinated him was named Darius, and in Monteriggiuni, there was a statue commemorating him in the shelter beneath the villa of Auditore.

Y—YUSUF TAZIM(YUSUF Tazim)

The leader of the Ottoman Assassin Brotherhood in Constantinople. Yusef Tazim gave him a lot of help during Egio's departure from the familiar Italian Brotherhood of Assassin. Yusef taught Egio how to make various bombs, and introduced him to the improved model of the sleeve sword - the hook blade, which can be used to fight or slide along ropes. Yusef's guidance is particularly important in Constantinople and is also a unique feature of the game Assassin's Creed: Apocalypse.

Z——ZARAGOZA(Zaragoza)

1491—almost in the same period as the Assassin’s Creed movie—Eggio Auditore came to Zaragoza, Spain to protect Christopher, the guide who was hunted by the Templars. During this period, Egio sneaked into a religious court prison where members of the Spanish Assassin Brotherhood were taken into custody, awaiting a heresy trial, and Egio tried his best to rescue the fraternity members.
