Assassin's Creed has become famous in the stand-alone game circle until now, and the classic Egio trilogy remains in the memory of a generation of players.
Today we will review the turning point of the assassin's career as the second-generation protagonist of Assassin's Creed, Egio Auditore, and his journey from a rampage-bending boy to a generation of assassin master.
Immediately following the previous work "Assassin's Creed II", the Templars traced the assassin stronghold where the male protagonist Desmond was located, and Desmond and his group had to run away. After escaping from the pursuit, he arrived at the Italian city of Monteriggiuni, using the basement of the Auditore estate as a hiding place, and using Animus 2.0 to go back to the memory of his ancestor Egio Auditore.
In December 1499, during the Renaissance, Egio, who entered middle age, gave up assassinating Pope Alexander VI, and returned to Monteriggione. In January 1500, the Pope's son Cizel Pochia led his troops to attack the Auditorre Manor.
Cizel broke through the Auditorre estate and seized the ancient relic "Golden Apple of the Garden of Eden" kept by Egio's uncle Mario Auditorre.
Eggio survived but was seriously injured. He had to flee to Rome, the capital of Italy with his family, but the Pochia family already took control of Rome. At this time, all industries of Rome were in depression, and citizens were exploited and lived in difficulties.
Egio gradually connected the prostitutes, thieves and mercenaries in the city of Rome. Resisting citizens joined the army and formed the Assassin Brotherhood to liberate Rome under Pochia's control.
Egio was secretly accumulating strength on the one hand, and on the other hand, he was inquiring about Cizel's intelligence. Learning that his finances were under the charge of his brother Juan Pochia, and Cizel's ambitions were gradually fermenting, he prepared to unite the military forces of Louis XII, Duke of France and the war machine of the inventor Leonardo da Vinci to conquer Italy.
After Egio disintegrating Cizel's evil attempt, infiltrate into the Vatican's castle of San Angels. When he wanted to confront the Pope to ask about the whereabouts of the Golden Apple in the Garden of Eden, he learned that the Pope was dissatisfied with his son Cizel's infinite ambitions and was ready to poison him.
Cizel learned of the plan first, and killed the pope and prepared to go to the church to get the golden apple. Egio's ancestors took the golden apple in one step, and Pope Julius II ascended the throne and ordered the pursuit of Cizel.
In March 1507, Egio chased Cizel in Vienna, Spain and dueled him in the siege. After a fierce fight, Cizel was injured and Egio took advantage of the opportunity to throw him off the wall. At the end of the memory, Egio hid the golden apple in a secret room in the Colosseum.
Desmond went back to the modern day to go to the Colosseum, opened the secret room and obtained the Golden Apple. At this point, the legendary story of the master Egio came to an end.
Go to the most magnificent city in Italy——Rome, knock down the enemy and build your own Assassin Union. The best part of the Assassin's Creed plot series is the Egio trilogy, and the Brotherhood is the pinnacle of these trilogy. It is really a pity that the recruitment system with unique characteristics has not been continued in this work.
