In July this year, Ubisoft announced "Assassin's Creed: Infinite", but due to too few details, there are too many questions about this new work. The biggest problem at the moment is about the form of Assassin's Creed: Infinite. Ubisoft describes it as an "evolving world with multiple settings" inspired by successful games such as Fortnite and GTA. But this still doesn't explain well what kind of game this is or how it plays.
Recently, a Reddit user, Smooth-Earth2875, said he had insider news about Assassin's Creed: Infinity, and he said the work is still in the early stages of conceptualization and development.
According to him, Assassin's Creed: Infinity is inspired by the Helix system in Assassin's Creed: The Revolution. Each Assassin's Creed story in Infinity will be a small and linear narrative experience set in a semi-open world, similar to the Killer game. Players will play multiple assassins in the game, with multiple missions per storyline. There will be a new story to support the entire game and will continue to expand with time. Although Infinity is dominated by its own story, Ubisoft will still develop a new open world Assassin's Creed game in parallel.
"Although in the early stages of conceptualization and development, Assassin's Creed: Infinity is solid enough that I can confidently reveal what form it will take. Infinity is inspired by Helix of The Revolution. Each Assassin's Creed will be a small linear experience, with a semi-open world level like the Killer game, with each Assassin's story having multiple missions. Ubisoft also plans to remake and retell the old Assassin's Creed game in Infinity. It's too early to determine which old games (if any) will be retold. Finally, a new story will be added over time. The open world Assassin's Creed will be developed at the same time as Infinity."
Smooth-Earth2875 claims to have worked at Ubisoft and submitted evidence to Reddit's management team. But because he is a new user, the Reddit management team has stopped him. In view of this, the above revelations are not very credible. If the Reddit management team verifies the news, the post will continue to be updated.
