Introduction to Assassin's Creed Trilogy (Which Assassin's Creed Trilogy is better)

After the "Assassin's Creed" mythological trilogy was often criticized by players as formulaic cans, but some players also said that they like this style of gameplay. Foreign media GamePressure has produced data comparison charts on the volume of these three games. In order to facilitate the read of players and friends, the following text will be referred to as "Assassin's Creed: Origin", the following text will be referred to as "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey" as "Odyssey", and the following text will be referred to as "Assassin's Creed: Valhalla".

DLC

The Origin has two plot DLCs, namely "The Invisible" and "The Curse of the Pharaoh"; "The Odyssey" has two plot DLCs, namely "The Inheritance of the First Sword" and "The Destiny of Atlantis"; "The Valhalla" has three plot DLCs, namely "The Wrath of the Druid", "Siege of Paris" and "Dawn of the Doomsday".

It has to be mentioned here that the DLC of "Origin" and "Odyssey" both supplement the plot of the Assassin's main line, and also expand the description of the mythical world, with a qualified quality. But the DLC of "The Palace of Valhalla" has nothing to do with the assassin, the mythological content is very limited, and the gameplay is extremely homogeneous.

Collected items

The Origin has 499 collections, the Odyssey has 1555 collections, and the Valhalla has 1145 collections. There is a cold knowledge: Although the collection of "Odyssey" has the most collections, the Platinum Cup/All Achievements is the easiest to complete in the trilogy, because it does not require collecting all collections. The trophy/achievement of "Origin" question marks is really boring and time-consuming, and it is a huge blow to players who are keen on 100% progress.

After a large number of players were tortured by the question marks of Origin and Odyssey, Ubisoft canceled the question mark in Valhalla and instead replaced it with events such as mysterious legends. Although there is no difference in nature, at least the view of opening the big map has been much better, and question mark phobia has been cured.

Number of Tasks

The Origin has 183 missions, the Odyssey has 317 missions, and the Valhalla has 352 missions. In fact, players who have played it can feel that although Origins is an open world, the main line process is not long and there are indeed not many side quests. "Odyssey" suddenly became very heart-warming, while "Valley" stretched the game process again.

Birds-eye view point

How can you roam in the open world without the fast travel function? In the Assassin's Creed myth trilogy, players can teleport through synchronized bird's eye point when they leave the battle (a small number of tasks are limited). The more bird's eye view points, the more you can save time on your journey. "Origin" has 78 bird's-eye points, "Odyssey" has 145 bird's-eye points, and "Valley" has 106 bird's-eye points.

Map Area

The land area of "Origin" is 92 square kilometers; the land area of "Odyssey" is 145 square kilometers, of which 271 square kilometers are counted as the entire map of the Shanghai Ocean; the land area of "The Palace of Heroes" is 171.5 square kilometers, of which 197.5 square kilometers are counted as the entire map of the Shanghai Ocean.

Therefore, the largest land area is "The Temple of Valhalla", and the largest total area is "Odyssey".

Customization time

The time interval for "Origin" is 42-104 hours, the time interval for "Odyssey" is 76-185 hours, and the time interval for "Valley" is 82-184 hours. It can be seen from this that the size of the myth trilogy is getting bigger and bigger. Interestingly, Ubisoft executives mentioned in an interview that the larger the game, the better.
