Today, the second round of the "Trial of the Gods" event of Assassin's Creed: Origins was officially launched, and this event is also limited to one week. In this trial, players need to prove themselves in front of the powerful ancient Egyptian gods. Only the strong can receive gifts from the gods, while the rest can only become delicious meals for the gods and their children.
The overlord in the water—Sobek
Sobek is the embodiment of the most brutal predator in ancient Egypt. The Nile Crocodile is known for its greed, enormous and strongness. Egyptians were careful and seeking protection from spells as they traveled through the crocodile-infested waters.
As the terrifying overlord of the water, Sobek is the God of Water and the God of Plurality, and like His children, Sobek is a fearful but respected symbol. He usually appears as a crocodile or crocodile-headed body, and when people approach to pay homage, Sobek gives people a huge sense of danger.
According to ancient records, crocodiles were carefully fed in the temple that worshiped Sobek at that time to honor Sobek. If you visit the temple of Fayum in Assassin's Creed: Origins, you may also meet the incarnation of this god.
To face Sobek directly, you must complete the Aya mission line. Once you complete it, you can start this trial at any time according to the mission's guidance. We recommend challenging Sobeck after the protagonist reaches level 40.
Treasures of the Gods
After defeating Sobek, you will also obtain fragments of the ancient god equipment. You can challenge them endlessly to test your skills while also gaining experience and money (Dramack), but only one weapon can be unlocked in each round of Trials of the Gods. If you miss this "Trial of the Gods", don't worry, you will get another chance to challenge them in the future.
All players who have proved their strength through the "Trial of the Gods" will receive an exclusive legendary costume after the event ends.
