Assassin's Creed Odyssey chooses male or female (name of the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Odyssey)

In Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, the player has two protagonists to choose from, brother Alixios and sister Kassandra. In a recent media interview, Ubisoft Director Scott Phillips revealed that about two-thirds of the entire player group chose Alixios as the protagonist.

"Interestingly, during the trial test, this ratio was close to one to one." The developers initially thought that players would prefer the female character Cassandra, but the final data result was exactly the opposite. "This fully demonstrates that the key to our game lies in the player's choices, although some of their choices ultimately surprised us."

The interview also mentioned the controversial empirical gain krypton gold options and the consideration of krypton gold system during game design. The development team tried to make Assassin's Creed more RPG elements. For example, the new love options added in this work brought great challenges, but will be further improved in future works.

When it comes to future works, the next "Assassin's Creed" may still provide players with options for the protagonist's gender. While male characters seem to be more popular, perhaps developers will pay more attention to what the characters themselves represent. Considering that the Assassin's Creed series is paying more attention to historical reproduction and virtual sightseeing, the more options the player will have.
