IGN: 6 points, ok
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - Dawn of the Doomsday even though it has a wonderful setting and an attractive story, it cannot conceal the fact that we can do the same thing as the Ontology Game in a year and a half.
Summary:
Putting aside the new settings, "Dawn of Doomsday" did not raise the long-term template of "Assassin's Creed: Valhalla" to a new level, and did not change the core gameplay. Hugr rap and a lot of new superpowers are very interesting, but the use of them is too rare to feel their importance.
In addition, my 20-hour adventure feels very similar to the 100-plus hours I spent in the ontology game 15 months ago. Although it's still fun, it's just as disappointing and boring as I'm so eager for new ways to play. However, the only thing to look forward to is how Ubisoft will repurpose every system we have seen to adapt to new themes and environments. The mediocre gameplay with almost no change is worthy of these beautiful locations and stories.
