The Prince of Persia: Rebirth truly fulfilled my desire to enjoy the fun of the game. Although its story has no connection with the first three, and the story is based on the classic "One Thousand and One Nights", for me, it is the first experience of the Persian prince in the real sense. The operation of the game is simpler, and the jumping process can also interact with the heroine, which is very suitable for me as a rookie-level operation of the Persian prince. Compared with the game experience, what fascinates me more is the background story of the game and the ultimate unexpected but poignant ending of the game.
The backstory of this game takes place in a land full of mystery and legend. The protagonist of the story, Prince of Persia, is involved in an epic brother battle between the god of light, Olmuzda, who dominates justice, and the god of darkness, Aliman, who dominates evil.
Ariman, the God of Darkness in the universe, was very dissatisfied with the universe where he could only control half of it, so he began to attack his brother, Omaz, the God of Light. Through brainwashing ear temptation, instigation and intimidation, Areman successfully distorted the human heart, making their hearts full of jealousy and anger, until the end of the reason and soul were swallowed up and completely fell into darkness. With Ariman's unremitting efforts, the influence of the dark power of the entire universe has become increasingly greater, and the land, sky and soul have been corrupted. Some people willingly follow him in order to obtain the power given to them by Ariman, while more people are forced to obey Ariman because of their own weakness and environmental factors.
At the moment the demons were dancing, Omaz was completely at a loss and didn't know how to respond to his brother's behavior. His hesitation caused Arriman to spread chaos throughout the universe, almost completely devouring the human world.
Even though, Omaz finally realized that if he did not act, the light he represented would disappear from the world forever, and he began to fight back. He noticed that Ariman's front was too long and the local darkness power was relatively weak, so he adopted the tactic of division and governance, purifying the corroded world and soul one by one, thus effectively weakening Ariman's control over the universe. Finally, the four remaining Ariman's dark servants were beaten up by Omaz and locked inAfter the tree of life, the unlucky Arriman found that his connection with the six attendants was so close that his abilities were blocked. Finally, Omaz concentrated all his strength and locked his brother Arieman into the tree of life forever.
After everything was over, Omaz felt deeply ashamed of his early inaction. He could not face this world that was corrupted and polluted for his own reasons, so he chose several people - Yahura, to hand over the responsibility of protecting the tree of life, while he himself left the world of mankind and began the journey between stars.
As time passed, Omaz's power in this land gradually faded, and although Ariman was still imprisoned in the tree of life, his voice could already be heard in the ears of those who were very close to him, the Yahura people, constantly tempting them. This is the situation of the Yahura people: a group of forgotten souls followed the instructions of a forgotten god, and together with Ariman, they were imprisoned in the desert lonely city covered by the tree of life, and the whisper of the dark god still echoed in their ears from time to time.
The war between gods has passed, and Arriman never gave up on his hope of escape. At this time, Ahura was led by the King of Grace. The unfortunate king had lost his beloved wife before. Grief and guilt almost defeated him. When his beloved daughter, the last light in his life, Erica, also left him, Ariman smelled his opportunity. He desperately poured temptation and instigation into the king's ears: "Why does a king lose all the people he loves the most? You devoted your life to Omaz, but when your wife and daughter die, when you need help the most, where is this great God of Light?! That's right! He is not here, he ignores your pain! The entire battle process in the game is similar to the way Omaz took to attack and defeat them one by one before. With a groan, the fallen things were purified, the auspicious light shone, and the world was regained vitality. In the end, they bravely saved the corroded world from the hands of evil, causing the entire earth to return to peace again.
After defeating Ariman in the end, Erica gave all her light energy (life) to the divine tree, which also means the end of her life. Unable to accept the facts, Brins picked up his beloved princess and placed her on the queen's sarcophagus in front of the gate of the sacred tree. In front of the gate of the sacred tree, he remembered the transaction method between Erica's father and Arriman, so he made the same decision as Erica's father: cut off the four small trees that guard the power of the sacred tree, and finally entered the inside of the sacred tree to cut off the tree of life that sealed Arriman.
