The first part mainly introduces the story of the legendary assassin Altaire. It can be roughly divided into three parts: Assassin's Creed 1, Assassin's Creed: Chronicle of Altaïr, Assassin's Creed: Blood.

The Chronicles of Altaïr is a prequel to Assassin's Creed 1, mainly about Altaïr's first love. Blood is the epitome of Assassin's Creed 1, telling the story of Altaire and Maria (another lover).

Assassin's Creed 1

Location: near Israel, Syria

Time: 1191, the Third Crusade

At some time in modern times, a bar waiter named Desmond Myers was kidnapped by Abstergo. The other party's researcher told him that he was actually a direct descendant of the ancient assassin master and needed to analyze his DNA to extract the memories of his ancestors, because his ancestor Altaïr knew the whereabouts of the fragments of the Garden of Eden. Through this method, Abstergo could find clues to this artifact. So Miles was forced into the virtual machine Animus by researchers and returned to the Middle East in the 12th century to find the memories of his ancestor Altaire.

In the Middle East in the 12th century, it was during the Third Crusade. Altay was affiliated with the assassin organization Assassin. Altay killed nine Templars one after another in the name of his master in order to prevent the Third Crusade and maintain peace. When Altayr successfully killed nine targets, he gradually realized that he had been deceived: it turned out that ten people found a fragment of the Garden of Eden that year. These ten people were nine killed knights and his master Almorin. The reason why he used Altayr to assassinate the nine knights was just to swallow the fragments of the Garden of Eden alone, and then control people's thoughts through this artifact to realize his dream of dictatorship. Altay was shocked when he learned all this. He quickly returned to the Assassin's headquarters to question his master, and started a fight, eventually killing the master, obtaining some fragments of the Garden of Eden and burying it, becoming the new leader of the Assassin League. Bring the Assassin Organization into a new era.

Return to modern Miles, I learned that Abstergo currently holds some fragments of the Garden of Eden, and kidnapped Miles here just to find the fragments buried by Altay. And use artifacts to control human thoughts. At this time, Abstergo's researcher Lucy> Also revealed to Miles, she turned out to be a spy lurking in Abstergo. Her real identity is also a member of the Assassin Alliance, helping Miles escape here.

After Animus's experiment, Miles acquired the magical ability of his ancestors, "Eagle Eye", through which he discovered the secret of resting in the laboratory. It turned out that before he came here, 16 descendants of assassins had been kidnapped here one after another, and were brutally killed after the experiment. The walls of the rest were full of their last words. After it all was over, Miles tried to escape with Lucy's help.

Assassin's Creed: Altaïr Chronicle

Location: Israel, Syria, Lebanon

Time: 1190, the year before Assassin's Creed 1

Altay was searched for the artifact by her mentor Almorin. During the search, Altayy learned that the Holy Grail was hidden in the Palace of Sand. But when he went through a lot of hardships to obtain the three keys to open the Palace of Sand and enter, he only found a golden box that was empty.

Later, I learned that the Holy Grail was in the holy city of Jerusalem and was being taken care of by the Templars. Altaïr infiltrated into the fortress and met his first love Adha, and learned that his identity was the "Holy Grail" and was rescued.

Adha revealed to Altay that the deputy leader of the Assassin organization Harash has been bribed and rebelled into the Templar camp. So Altay was preparing to go to the stronghold in Harash to clean up the portal for the organization. Altay wanted to take Adeha away after killing the traitor. However, just as he was heading to complete the mission, Adeha was kidnapped by the leader of the Templars Basilisk. After chasing Basilisk to Sur, he killed Basilisk. However, he found that Adeha was locked up in another ship and Altay could no longer catch up. After returning to the shore, Altay looked at the ship with Adeha locked up in the distance, shouting Adeha's name desperately, swearing that one day he would find her.

Atel found Adeha again several years later, but it was too late. Altay killed everyone related to Adeha's death. Altay's first love ended like this.

Assassin's Creed: Blood

Location: Cyprus

Time: 1191, 1 month after Assassin's Creed 1 ended

A month after Almorin's death, the Crusades continued, and the Templars were in the new commander——Amand Pochart's leadership was planning a new plan. Altay was not willing to wait for the enemy to attack, so he decided to take the initiative to take action against them. Altay led the attack on the Harbour Castle, where he met a female Templar: Maria.

After Altay was subduing Maria, she learned from her that the Templars were about to go to Cyprus. Altay took Maria as a prisoner and went to Cyprus together, hoping to use Maria as a bait to attract the Templars. When Maria escaped from Altay, she immediately went to the regiment commander Pochard to warn him that an assassin had arrived here. But Pochard did not appreciate it, thinking that the woman was not trustworthy, so he ordered Maria to be locked up. Altay shows up to save Maria, but she accuses Altay, thinking that it is his fault for being suspected.

As Altay explored the Templars around, Maria attempted to escape several times. Although she was hostile to Altay, Altay's sincere words gradually had an impact on her heart until she saw the Templar's atrocities and wavered her original belief. Maria dressed as a dancer and scrambled into the castle to meet one of the commander Pochard's subordinates, questioning him about the Templar's intention to seize the Apple of Eden. She cannot agree with the act of creating order through enslaving the people.

Maria took Altaïr into the archives room to fight against the leader of the Templar Pochard. Pochart explained that due to the stupidity of Isak (formerly the Emperor of Cyprus), Richard, the Lionheart, occupied Cyprus, and the Templars had to buy the island back to avoid being discovered by Richard. And they had already transferred the treasures and secrets in the archives before Altay arrived. After killing Pochart, Altay escapes from the archives with Maria. Maria said she formally withdrew from the Templars.

Altayne left Cyprus with Maria. In 1193, Altaïr and Maria got married in Limassol. After returning to Masiaf, their eldest son Darim was born. Two years later, his second son, Seff, was born.

Conclusion

Recalling the first part of "Assassin's Creed", we can see the life of the legend of Altaïr. He fundamentally changed the way the Assassin Organization acted, led the Assassin Organization to flourish and develop, and influenced many assassins, including Egio Auditore. But Altay lost his love twice in his life and lived alone to over 90 years. His legendary life was also full of endless pain and torture.
