What is the plot analysis of Assassin's Creed movie? (Spoilers)

I went to watch the premiere of "Assassin's Creed" with great enthusiasm, but when I walked out of the theater and faced the biting cold wind on the streets of Hangzhou in the middle of the night, my mood was complicated.

Assassin's Creed is a movie adapted from the same video game, just like "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter", which was released at the same time. The difference is that the latter is a series of movies with a history of fifteen years, while the "Assassin's Creed" movie is considered a fledgling.

This situation also leads to the different narrative styles of the two in the movie: "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" can be a "bang-and-match"-style brainless killing throughout the whole process, while "Assassin's Creed" requires a long time to explain the ins and outs of the entire story.

It is precisely because "Assassin's Creed" has such a narrative task that the film is very unfriendly for non-game lovers or viewers who have no knowledge of medieval history in Europe.

If you have never played the game "Assassin's Creed" and have no understanding of Western history such as the Knights Templar, Religious Judgment, Christianity and Islamic Wars, then this will be a very difficult movie.

Simply put, this film tells the story of the Brotherhood of Assassins who advocated freedom and the Knights Templar, who advocated order, triggered a bloody crime in the Middle Ages and modern times in order to compete for an apple (Apple Eden).

As for the setting of the Apple of Eden, it has a bit of a charlatan. It is said that only Apple of Eden is there, humans have freedom. The logic between them is hard to understand.

It is said that it originates from the settings in the game, but the game focuses on experience, so it is okay to kill the whole process; if the movie does not explain these details clearly, the audience will be confused.

Even if you are a loyal fan of the original game, you will find that the protagonist Lynch in the film is actually not from any of the "Assassin's Creed" game series - he is a completely original character.

The time travel machine in the film, called Animas, is also very different from the description in the game.

So even though there were a group of game fans sitting in the back row of the cinema at that time, I had never heard of any surprise commotion among them.

Fortunately, the director at least restored the most acclaimed medieval European city market scene of the Assassin's Creed game, as well as the parkour of the Assassins in the classical city.

The scene was quite a bit like the charm of Yu Jiaolong and Yu Xiulian chasing on the roof in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", but it was more messy and had a little less artistic sense, but it was more lively and more suitable for watching with popcorn.

However, that's all. Several important fights are all about punching and kicking skills, and there is no new idea. For the protagonist who cheats, even if the villain is invincible in the early stage and beats the protagonist, in the end, he can only wait for the end of being torn by hand.

The ending of the whole film is very dull and ends in a hurry without any fight. Apart from laying the groundwork for the sequel, there is only the viewingEveryone booed him "on the beginning and the end".

The "Butterfly Case" back then was a deep irony of the movie "The Promise", and the current "Apple Fight" shows that Hollywood filmmakers do not understand what kind of fan attitude this deep irony means.

Although "Assassin's Creed" is not a bad movie, it is enough to disappoint the fans who are full of expectations for it.

For those viewers who are angry after watching "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter", after watching "Assassin's Creed", they probably only feel that they owe Resident Evil an apology.
