Why is the black flag of Assassin's Creed still stuck? (Is the black flag of Assassin's Creed high?)

Why is the black flag of Assassin's Creed still stuck? (Is the black flag of Assassin's Creed high?)

Many friends asked me why the computer has upgraded a new graphics card, but the online games have not improved much. Then, through Master Lu's detection image, he found that his processor is still stuck in the old version of the fourth generation Core. Today I will talk to you about the hardware bottlenecks I often talk about.

Today I will use a 9600KF that I have collected for many years to simulate the CPU performance of different algebras through downsizing and overclocking. The memory is dual-channel 16G (8G*2), and the graphics card is an ordinary two-level card RTX2070super.

First of all, it is CSGO that consumes CPU frequency very much

When the frequency is reduced to 3G, the frame count of the entire game scene hovers around 110-180FPS under the full effect quality of 2K, which is basically the majority of the third and fourth generation i5s and most laptop CPUs.

Then increase the frequency a little bit, and when it reaches 4G, you can see that the frame rate has reached around 190-260FPS under the special effects. Currently, most of the mainstream CPU frequencies are around this. Like the latest tenth-generation i5-10400.

When the CPU frequency is overclocked to 5.0GHz, the frame rate reaches about 280-360FPS, but the CPUs that can reach this frequency are basically the processors with K (8700K, 9600K, 9700K, etc.). Through the above comparison, we can clearly see that at the time of 3G CPU frequency, the graphics card occupancy rate is about 30%, and when it comes to 5G, the graphics card occupancy rate has reached about 80%. It can be clearly stated that the CPU bottleneck is that the CPU cannot meet the graphics card, and the graphics card occupancy rate is low and it cannot perform all performance.

So, if there are more CPU cores in this type of old games, will it be improved?

I’m sorry when this type of game came out, the optimization was still a common dual-core quad-core optimization, so no matter how many cores there are, it’s just a melon to eat. Of course, not all games want CS:GO to be particularly sensitive to CPU ratings, such as Wizard 3.

You can see that when the same screen is set, there is basically no difference between the number of CPU 3.7G and 4.7G frames.

But when we replace it with a 2060 and a 2080 graphics card, we can find that there is a big difference in frame numbers when using the same CPU frequency. Most of these masterpieces have high requirements for graphics cards, so a good graphics card can significantly increase the frame rate.

Of course, this does not mean that online games eat CPUs, and stand-alone masterpieces eat graphics cards. Games like PUBG not only have high requirements for graphics cards and CPU, but also have high-frequency memory. Under the same configuration, higher-rated memory can bring higher frame rate performance.

There is another game like Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, no matter how tall you are,The difference between the components configuration and the benchmark test of the game is basically not very big. Some high-end hosts are worried about whether they can meet the high-efficiency 60-frame operation.

The above is all the content about hardware bottlenecks that I brought to you today. I just wrote about everyone's viewing. If you have any other computer questions, please leave a message or chat with me in the comment section below. I will try my best to answer them.
