What does my world chicken eat?

Chicken eats wheat seeds. You can use wheat seeds to lure them. It's the one that beats the grass. So what do they usually eat? Actually, they usually don’t need to eat anything.

Chicken is a passive creature in Minecraft. Chicken can provide feathers, raw chicken and eggs, which are essentials for making arrows, food, and cakes.

Chicken can provide player feathers, meat (raw chicken, cooked chicken) and eggs. Feathers are a necessity for making arrows, chicken is used as food, and eggs are one of the ingredients for making cakes and pumpkin pies.

Reproduction

There are two ways to breed chickens: throw eggs or feed seeds to adult chickens (wheat, watermelon, pumpkin or hell warts)

Top eggs: The chickens can be hatched by throwing eggs. Each egg (when thrown) has a 1/8 chance of hatching a chick, and a 1/256 chance of hatching 4 chicks at a time, which means that 1 group (16 in total) of eggs has an 88% chance of hatching at least 1 chick.

Raising chickens: You can also breed one chicken by feeding two chickens. As parents, chickens need to have 5 minutes to reproduce again after breeding.

Because chickens lay eggs regularly, you can build a farm that produces eggs automatically; the commonly used method is to raise the chickens in a pool made of signs, and the eggs laid by the chicken will fall through the water layer, and you can collect the eggs underneath.
