The American drama "The Warrior" inspired by Bruce Lee's life has been renewed by HBO Max for the third season
"#Warrior#" is a martial arts series inspired by the work of #Bruce Lee, and HBO boss Kathy Bruis announced that its third season will be back on HBO Max.
"The Warrior" is inspired by the project written by Bruce Lee. Background in the Chinatown of San Francisco after the American Civil War; "Dragon Warrior" tells the story of a young martial arts expert who came from afar from China, who finds himself involved in the bloody war in Chinatown. "Dragon Warrior" is a project that Bruce Lee spent many years studying when he was born, but it was not produced or published in the end. It was his daughter, Li Xiangning, who discovered a large number of manuscripts related to this plan when she packed up his relics. Later, she joined the production company to sell the plan to Cinemax in 2015.
"The Warrior" was created and produced by Jonathan Trooper (directed by Banshee), and "Fast and Furious 9" directors Lin Yibin and Lee Xiangning (Bruce Lee's daughter) are also produced by the directors.
"Warriors can be launched on the HBO platform and have the opportunity to attract more new audiences. Lin Yibin, Jonathan and I are all excited," said Li Xiangning. "Everyone is excited and grateful for the opportunity to shoot the next season. I'm glad that HBO Max can understand the importance of this and continue to provide support to help me fulfill my father's dream a long time ago. We will present an equally high-level and meaningful plot and kung fu scene in Season 3!"
