"Diablo 4" public beta starts today, queuing may not be avoided

The public beta of "Dark 4" is open for all players in the early morning of this year and ends at 3 a.m. on March 28. Before the full public beta, Blizzard launched a limited-edition test for pre-order players a few days ago. There was a server problem at that time, so in the face of a massive number of people with countless times more than pre-order players, Blizzard's servers will face severe challenges. If you want to join the test today, you'd better prepare some snacks and a movie as you may have to line up.

Unlike the limited edition test not long ago (3 classes), today's comprehensive test opens five major classes: Barbarian, Thieves, Magicians, Necromancers (New) and Druids (New).

In the latest blog, Blizzard was particularly wary of the "long queue time" and said that "queuing is an inevitable part of participating in the BETA test."

"When we open this door again for everyone this Friday, we expect a lot of people to come in. There will be a long queue, especially on Friday, which is the first day of BETA's online and peak period.

The past weekend helped us predict the number of people we will encounter this weekend, and we will use this estimate to intentionally put pressure on our system in preparation for the launch of BETA.

Overall, while we know it can be annoying, we need to line up to do the proper stress test of our services, and we are designing to make sure we have lineups at some point. ”
