WeChat secretly tests new features, and the articles you have read are finally recorded
At present, iOS WeChat has been launched for half a month in the official version of 8.0.29, and Android is still in the official version of 8.0.28. However, don’t worry, as WeChat’s previous practices are not far from updating the new version. In the absence of updates, Sesame Girl recently discovered that WeChat is quietly testing new features.
The original "≡" in the upper right corner of WeChat's subscription account has become a portrait icon. Click in, which are the account I subscribed to, recent reading, appreciation, payment, notification and settings. Among them, the new features of the latest grayscale test.
On the recent reading page, the articles you have read will be saved here, and records for up to nearly 7 days can be saved. Of course, if you don't want your browsing history to be saved, you just need to swipe left to delete a single record or click "..." in the upper right corner to "close and clear recent readings".
Some articles we have read are easier to find if you want to check them again. However, only articles posted in WeChat official accounts will be recorded, and third-party web pages will not.
In addition, click Appreciation and Payment to see all your appreciation/paid content, number of times and total amounts. Click to view the specific appreciation/paid history content and you can jump to the corresponding article. With this function, you will know where the money is spent.
But these functions are still in the grayscale test at present. Friends, please go and see if you have been tested internally.
