Recently, "Total War" developer Creative Assembly" announced the establishment of a new branch: Creative Assembly North, which will be CA's third division, located in Newcastle, UK. They are currently working with CA's team to develop a new project that has not yet been disclosed.
Giselle Stewart will serve as director of the new studio, with over 26 years of experience in 3A game development and also "a broader gaming industry experience as a member of the TIGA, the Game Developers Trade Association, the Creative Industry Federation and the Ukie Board of Directors."
It is reported that CA Northern Studio is still expanding and improving, and it will mainly provide support for other CA studios to improve tools, workflows and development environments. As the company’s emerging base, the new studio hopes to recruit more than 100 creative and technical developers in the next few years.
"We are bringing new job opportunities to the Northeast, building a studio that extends the cultural atmosphere and values of Creative Assembly. We will also expand the influence of the studio's award-winning outreach program, Legacy Project, to support the region's outstanding industry education," the official said.
