Recently, many players posted on Reddit, Blizzard Forum and other voice channels that the Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti graphics card will be damaged when running the "Diablo 4" beta version. According to some of the reports, the graphics card completely failed and can no longer be used.

As of March 20, 2023, at least 20 people on Diablo subreddit have reported a failure in the Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. In most cases, the load on the graphics card increases significantly during the church cutscenes, but for some players, this happens directly during the game.

Several of the players said their computers were restarted during the game, but the graphics card continued to work after that. As one of the owners of the Gigabyte RTX3080 Ti said, he seemed very lucky because there were a lot of reports about failures on the forum.

EVGA RTX 3080 Ti users have also complained about the graphics card damage many times, with one of them reporting similar issues with his AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, but most of the messages come from the owner of the Gigabyte model.
