Assassin's Creed Odyssey crashed without response (How to solve Assassin's Creed Odyssey crashed)

Recently, "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey" has been officially released, but the open world game Ubisoft does not support CPUs that do not support AVX. This means that if you are using an old CPU from Intel or AMD, if you do not support AVX, you will not be able to start the game at all and crash immediately.

So what is AVX? The full name of AVX is Advanced Vector Extensions, an extension of the X86 instruction set architecture of Intel and AMD microprocessors. The first CPUs to support AVX are Intel's second-generation Core CPUs (launched in 2009) and AMD's Bulldozer architecture processors.

Simply put, Assassin's Creed Odyssey does not support the following CPUs:

The first generation of Intel i3, i5 and i7 and older processors, such as the i7 920, i7 960, etc.

Intel Pentium processors, such as G4560, G2030, etc.

AMD Phenom processor, such as X6 1090T

It is worth mentioning that although the PC versions of other games do not support AVX CPUs, developers usually launch patches in order to support these old CPUs, such as "Monster Hunter: World", "Peak of the Limit", "Cool Car God 2", etc.

This time, however, it seems that Ubisoft does not intend to introduce any patches to support these old CPUs. On the official forum, Ubisoft said there is currently no plan to support older CPUs that do not support AVX instruction sets.

According to foreign media and players, this may be due to D encryption.
