Does Assassin's Creed Valhalla make money? (How much does Assassin's Creed Valhalla earn?)

At the Ubisoft's third quarter fiscal year 2022 conference call, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that as of December 2021, their open world RPG "Assassin's Creed: Valhalla" was a success, becoming the first game in the series to earn more than $1 billion. In October last year, Ubisoft said that Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is the second most profitable game in the company's history.

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla was released a year ago, in November 2020, so this is a pretty good achievement. It's a stand-alone game, but Ubisoft has been updating skins and gear players can buy with real money.

Ubisoft previously revealed that "Assassin's Creed: Valhalla" was the highest-selling game in the series in the first week of its release. The work also launched two expansion packs "The Wrath of the Druid" and "Siege of Paris", and the third expansion pack "Dawn of the Doomsday" will be released on March 10. There is no doubt that Ubisoft's instant service strategy has done miracles.

Before the arrival of "Doomsday", Ubisoft will launch the 1.2.0 update on February 22, and will also launch a free trial version, from February 24 to 28. So, if you've been on the go and see the game, this will be your chance to try it before you buy it.

As for the future of the series, a new Assassin's Creed game is reportedly in development, with the protagonist being Basim of Valhalla. It is said that the original plan for the DLC of "The Palace of Valhalla", but it is planned to be released later or in 2023. It is no longer an open world, but a small linear gameplay.
